Riverview Community High School Early Middle College
 
The REMC Early Middle College Program, in partnership with WCCC, gives students an opportunity to earn up to 60 credits towards an associate or bachelor's degree while still in high school. Students will take a blend of high school and college courses during 10th, 11th and 12th grade. During the 13th year, all classes will be taken on the WCCC campus. Early Middle College students will receive a high school diploma upon completion of the 5th year.
 
To be eligible for the REMC Early Middle College Program for the 2020-2021 school year, student must meet the following criteria:
 
• Students must be a freshman or sophomore at Riverview Community High School.
• Students must have a cumulative 2.5 grade point average.
 
The REMC Early Middle College Program Committee will review the student’s application, transcript, college assessment data (PSAT 9, PSAT 10, PSAT 11 and/or SAT), attendance, and discipline records to make a final admissions decision.

Riverview Community High School Enhanced Dual Enrollment

This is a new and exciting opportunity for juniors and seniors beginning in the 2019-2020 school year. Riverview Community School District has formed a partnership with Wayne County Community College to provide students an opportunity to earn credits towards an associate or bachelor’s degree while still in high school through an Enhanced Dual Enrollment. Students will take a blend of high school and college courses for one to two years, depending on when the student enters the program.

 

To be eligible for the Enhanced Dual Enrollment program, student must meet the following criteria:

 

* Junior or Senior at Riverview Community High School

* Must have a cumulative 2.5 grade point average
